The Full Story

About

I love OT. It is relative, individualized, and an incredible form of therapy for our children. As a pediatric and sensory processing specialist, I believe that all children (and caregivers!) benefit from a 'deep dive' into their sensory system. Identifying and fully understanding your own unique sensory system supports emotional regulation, social skills, coordination, innovation/problem solving, self confidence, and self-advocacy skills... just to name a few! I personally had challenges as a young child with sensory processing and wish I had the tools I know now to support my growth through childhood.

I am constantly inspired by the children and families that I work with. As a sole provider, I am able to fully support families in order to meet their desired goals. While my passion lies in sensory processing, I also prioritize clear communication with caregivers and the child's entire care team.

I am originally from Seattle, WA where I also attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Washington. I then moved to Los Angeles, and after a few years, relocated to Franklin, TN with my husband, Landon (who is a Franklin native) and our sweet dog Gus. We are incredibly devoted to the youth and healthcare in our community. In my spare time I love to practice yoga, run, be outside, read, cook, and spend time with family and friends!

Mission

To empower children to achieve their full potential and participate in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life. We strive to provide a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy that incorporates evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals. Through a collaborative and compassionate approach, we aim to foster the development of independence and confidence in children, while supporting families and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process.

Vision

We envision a world where every child has access to high-quality, evidence-based therapy that empowers them to lead happy, fulfilling lives. We strive to be leaders in the field of pediatric occupational therapy, continuously pushing the boundaries of knowledge and practice to provide the most effective, innovative therapies possible. Through collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, community leaders, and other healthcare professionals, we aspire to create a supportive, inclusive community where children can thrive and achieve their full potential. Our goal is to inspire hope, foster growth, and transform the lives of the children we serve.
